Below are summaries of two proven short plays of mine, both certain to get laughs, both featuring female casts. Each of these plays has been proven on stage. The first, "Dream A Little Dream," has been produced several times and is a national award winner, as it has recently been selected as one of eight short plays to be presented at the 2013 Minnesota Shorts Festival in Mankato in September. "Dream" was selected out of more than 400 entries, which puts it in pretty elite company. I hope to be there for the production in Mankato, and I hope to see you there, too! "The Hawkeye Ladies" was presented in 2012 at the O-Town Talent Show at Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. It was a huge hit there. It is an Iowa-centric play, so it would go over well in a theatre based in Iowa or a theatre in an area where there happens to be a lot of Iowa Hawkeye fans. It might also go over quite well as part of the entertainment for a Hawkeye event, such as an I-Club gathering or some type of pep rally or pregame party.
Talk to me and we can negotiate performance rights. These are fun plays, actors love them as much as the audiences do.

"If there's one thing America needs, it's farmers."
-- BREANNE

SYNOPSIS: Three middle-to-senior aged women sit in a sports bar and watch an Iowa Hawkeye football game on television as they converse. It becomes hilariously clear that the three have absolutely nothing at all in common, and really cannot agree on anything at all in the world, other than a love for Iowa Hawkeye football. In fact, were it not for Iowa Hawkeye football, the three women would likely be mortal enemies.

PRODUCTIONS
O-town Talent Show, at Bridge View Theatre, Ottumwa Iowa, March 2012.
